Attention Middle School Students! There will be a math club interest meeting Tuesday, August 21. The meeting will be in Ms. Long’s room #207. It will take place from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Please have your rides to come promptly at 5:00 p.m. We look forward to seeing you!
Recurring Announcements for Students
A few GSA announcements: The votes are in! The GSA President is Christophe Satterfield and the Vice-President is Atom Edwards. Reminder to GSA members to check in with Ms. Street about the field trip next Tuesday.
There will be an interest meeting for the Yearbook Club Tuesday, August 21 in the Cybrary from 4:15 – 5:00 p.m. See Ms. Bridges if you have any questions. We’d love to see you there!!
The Writing Club meets every Monday from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. The club is hosted by Mr. Lucas.
Come one, come all! The Middle School Student Council Interest meeting will be held Thursday, August 23 in Mr. Lewis’ room, #206. Snacks will be provided. Students in grades 6-8 are invited to learn about leading school activities and boosting school spirit and community. See you there from 4:15 – 5:15 p.m. Rides must be ready at 5:15 p.m. sharp!
Attention SCS Drama Club! We will meet in Room 103 at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays until the end of the school year. For those of you who did not make the first meeting, there is still time to join. The Drama Club is open to all SCS students.
All Seniors, please check the High School Resource Wall, Ms. Black, Mr. Pantoja, and Ms. Stefan’s class as well as outside Ms. Settle’s office for the date and time of your mandatory senior meeting.

We will be having our first PBIS celebration at the end of the 1st Quarter on September 21. You must display positive behavior throughout the school to attend. If you receive ISS, OSS or Saturday Detention, you will not be able to attend.
Attention Juniors & Seniors—the 2019 Prom will be here before you know it! Those who attended last year remember how great a night it was. So don’t wait until the last minute to purchase your tickets. You may purchase a single ticket for $60 and a couples ticket for $110. The regular cost will be $70 and $130 respectively. Take advantage of this deal through the end of August. After that, the prices will go up! See Coach Barnes or Ms. Street to order your tickets!
