More information about the Senate Page Program can be found on Ms. Price’s blog, Facebook or in the main office. The deadline to apply is March 16!

It’s hard to believe that we are almost ¾ of the way through the school year. As we gear up for spring testing, we’d like to remind you that state testing will begin on May 24th and continue through May 31st for most students. All teacher-made and district Spanish exams will begin on the 31st and end on June 6th. The anticipated dates are for most students and for most accommodations. Some students with accommodations may have an altered schedule in order to meet their needs.
Also, we are always in need of proctors. Our greatest needs are on the following dates: May 24th, May 25th, May 29th, May 30th, and May 31st. If you or someone you know are available to assist in the mornings (9-12:30) or afternoons (1-4PM), please contact our volunteer coordinator, Anita Neville. She can be reached at 919-560-3535 or by email atAnita.Neville@dpsnc.net . You all are our greatest solicitors and we appreciate all you do to help us during testing season.
The end of 3rd quarter and intersession break are fast approaching. The end of the quarter is Monday, March 19. Intersession runs March 20 – April 6. Remember that teachers will be unavailable during the break. The office will be open March 20 – 29 during our normal hours (8:15 – 4:45). We will be closed March 30 – April 6. Students and teachers return to school on Monday, April 9. You will receive the next Sunday message on April 5.
Have a great evening from all of us at SCS where we practice the 4c’s—Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, and Community.
