Our first SCS blood drive is Wednesday, November 1st, 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. Help us reach our goal of 100 pints of blood. In addition to all the other great reasons to give blood, SCS will earn scholarship money for our students for each pint donated. Online appointment registration is quick and easy at http://www.redcrossblood.org, sponsor code CREATIVE. Students must be at least 16 to give blood (parental consent is required for 16 year-olds and the form is located here: https://p.widencdn.net/3tdl9q).
See Dr. Rathbone if you have questions.
The PTSA is sponsoring a men’s clothing drive Nov 6 through Nov. 20. This is to support the Urban Ministries of Durham which is in very short supply and receives very few donations of men’s clothing. Please drop off your donations to the SCS front lobby during office hours.
Halloween is tomorrow. You will be allowed to wear your costumes to school. Costumes must be dress-code compliant and props need to stay at home. No masks or head coverings are allowed. Anything that appears to be disruptive will need to be changed.

All SCS students, teachers, and staff, if you have any tech concerns, mainly laptop repairs, please fill out a tech repair and diagnostic form located in the front office. You may also pick up a form from the media assistant in the Cybrary or Mr. Robinson’s office in Room 101C. Once the form is completed, leave the device and form in the Cybrary in the designated area or with Ms. Neville in the main office.
