Today is the 2nd day of Red Ribbon Week.  Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States. “Just Say No” was an advertising campaign, part of the U.S. “War on Drugs”, prevalent during the 1980’s and early 1990’s, to discourage children from engaging in illegal recreational drug use by offering various ways of saying no.  The slogan was created and championed by First Lady Nancy Reagan during her husband’s presidency. How many ways can you think of to “just say no”?

All SCS students, teachers, and staff, if you have any tech concerns, mainly laptop repairs, please fill out a tech repair and diagnostic form located in the front office.  You may also pick up a form from the media assistant in the Cybrary or Mr. Robinson’s office in Room 101C.  Once the form is completed, leave the device and form in the Cybrary in the designated area or with Ms. Neville in the main office.  Mr. Robinson will pick up the device and see that the issues are addressed accordingly.

Fencing Club begins Monday!  If you are interested, come to the small gym Monday.  Your ride will need to pick you up at 5:00 p.m.
