Good Evening SCS Families. This is Ms. Price with your Weekly Message for the week of May 8, 2017.
Wow…our juniors and seniors had quite a night on Saturday night for our first SCS prom. The students looked fabulous, the papparazi were on hand to snap photos as they entered the venue, the food was delicious, and they danced the night away. Thanks to Ms. Street and all the teachers who worked so hard to organize this evening.
I’m delighted to announce that our PTSA Executive Board for the 2017-2018 school year is now complete with the addition of Ms. Ethel Benkin, parent of a rising senior, as our treasurer.

There are a few spots left for the Costa Rica trip in spring 2018. We would love to have an exclusive SCS bus and want travelers to get the lowest prices that EF Tours will offer. This year’s price is not guaranteed for next year’s trip unless you register before the end of the school year. If you are interested in joining us for an adventure you will not forget, please make plans to attend an interest/registration meeting on Wednesday, May 10 at 5:30 in Ms. Wash’s room. If you are not able to attend but would like information about the trip, contact Ms. Wash by email, phone, or in person. We look forward to seeing you there.
We would like to thank you for your time, thoughts, donations, and all other acts of thoughtfulness during Teacher Appreciation Week. We felt very treasured and valued.
Have a great evening from all of us at SCS where we practice the 4c’s—Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, and Community.
