Kids Voting Needs Election Day Volunteers!

2016fallvolunteer1page-copyWant to help engage Durham’s youth in these Elections in a positive and uplifting way?  Kids Voting Durham, a non-profit, non-partisan is looking for groups and individuals to run and volunteer at Kids Voting sites at precincts throughout Durham on Election Day, November 8, to give Durham K-12 students vote on the same candidates and issues as adults.

With school out on Election Day, running a Kids Voting site is a great way for youth to earn service hours, work toward a merit badge, or have a family-friendly volunteer activity that can be done with children of any ages.  Running a Kids Voting booth is also a great community building activity for Neighborhood Associations, workplace groups, or churches.

And volunteering with Kids Voting is both fun and rewarding.  You can help to build Durham’s next great civic generation.

More information is in the attached flyer.  For questions and a list of polling sites that need volunteers email carolyn@kidsvotingdurham.org or call 919-560-7321 .
