Good Evening SCS Families. This is Ms. Price with your weekly message for the week of May 16, 2016.
The Annual Awards Breakfast will be held Thursday, May 19th. Middle School students will be honored at 9:30 a.m. and High School students will be honored at 10:30 a.m. Students have received their invitations. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Fleming.
There will be no school on Monday, May 30th to celebrate Memorial Day. The office will be closed.
We still need over 20 testing proctors per day May 31 through June 3. We are asking proctors to arrive for training by 8:45 and be prepared to stay for up to 3.5 hours of testing, but if you are available for any time during this window, we can use your assistance. Please contact Ms. Bugg in the main office or sign up on the school webpage or my blog to volunteer.
The Alliance for a Healthier Generation is pleased to announce that School for Creative Studies has achieved the 2016 Bronze National Healthy Schools Award. Ms. Sims will receive our award in the fall.
Yearbooks are in and will be distributed in the next few weeks. If you didn’t purchase one yet, we have a limited number available. Students, please listen to the morning and afternoon announcements for information about how to purchase one.
Have a great evening from all of us at SCS where we practice the 4c’s—Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, and Community.
