Good Evening SCS Families. This is Ms. Price with your weekly message for the week of January 18, 2016.
Report cards went home with students last Friday. Please make sure that you have reviewed all information that was included, sign the envelope and send it back to school to the homeroom teacher.
Ms. Huth is hosting morning ACT prep sessions Tuesdays from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. If you would like helping preparing for the ACT in March, make sure you attend.
SCS will host Driver’s Education classes February 29th – Friday, March 11th from 4-7 p.m. Registration is online and will begin at 12:01 a.m. on January 30th. There are only 30 spots and they fill up quickly. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Dixon.
Open House for Prospective Parents—Thursday, January 21st from 6:00 – 7:00. We are still in need of some current parents to be on hand to answer any questions that prospective parents may have. If you are interested and available, please contact Dr. Rathbone.
Middle School Geography Bee – Friday, January 22nd at 9:15 a.m.
Middle and High School Math Fair –Tuesday Jan 26th from 4:30 – 6:00.
PLC Early Release Day—Wednesday, January 27th. We will dismiss school at 2:00 p.m.
Middle School Spelling Bee—Friday, January 29th at 9:15 a.m.
The Young Male Achievers movement is hosting a school dance on Friday, February 5th. Listen for more information in the next few weeks.
Our Annual College Week is February 8th through the 12th. This week will be packed with fun activities and lots of information about colleges and universities.
Our PSAT scores for our juniors and some sophomores have come back and I’m proud to announce that our average was higher than the district, state and national average. Way to go!
